1. Information We Collect
We may collect personal, booking, payment, device and usage information when you interact with DonoRooms. The information collected depends on whether you are using DonoRooms as a guest, registered user, hotel owner, partner, website visitor or support contact.
User Account Information
Name, email address, mobile number, password, profile photo, address, city, state and pincode.
Booking Information
Hotel selected, room details, check-in date, check-out date, number of guests, rooms, booking status and cancellation reason.
Hotel Partner Information
Owner name, business name, hotel details, city, address, contact information, room data, pricing, images and approval records.
Payment Information
Payment method, amount, payment status, transaction reference, gateway response and invoice details. DonoRooms does not store your card, UPI PIN or banking passwords.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to provide, improve, secure and personalize DonoRooms services. This includes account verification, hotel search, room availability checks, booking creation, payment processing, invoice generation, partner approval and customer support.
To create and manage user and hotel owner accounts, including email OTP verification and password reset.
To process hotel bookings, availability checks, payment status, cancellations, invoices and booking history.
To notify users, hotel owners and admin about bookings, payments, cancellations, approval status, support requests and service updates.
To improve platform security, prevent fraud, investigate misuse and maintain activity logs where necessary.
3. Payment & Transaction Privacy
DonoRooms uses third-party payment gateway services such as PhonePe to process online payments securely. Payment gateway credentials, payment verification and transaction confirmation are handled through secure backend systems.
Important Payment Note
DonoRooms does not store sensitive card numbers, UPI PINs, bank passwords, CVV numbers or net banking credentials. Payment authentication is completed through the payment gateway or banking/payment provider interface.
We may store transaction reference numbers, payment status, gateway response, amount, booking number and invoice data to confirm bookings, resolve payment issues, support refunds where applicable and maintain legal/accounting records.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These measures may include secure authentication, password hashing, role-based access, server security, payment verification and restricted access to admin systems.
