DonoRooms aims to make cancellation and refund handling transparent for guests, hotel partners and administrators.

Refund Policy for DonoRooms bookings.

This Refund Policy explains how booking cancellations, refund eligibility, refund timelines and payment adjustments are handled on DonoRooms. Refund rules may vary depending on the hotel policy, room type, booking date, check-in date, payment method, cancellation reason and platform rules displayed during booking.

Please review the hotel’s cancellation policy before booking. Some rooms, offers, seasonal rates, discounted bookings or last-minute bookings may be non-refundable.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation policy applicable to your booking. The refund amount may be full, partial or zero depending on the time of cancellation, hotel policy, offer conditions, room category and booking status.

Before Free Cancellation Window

If the booking is cancelled within the allowed free cancellation period, the eligible amount may be refunded after deducting applicable payment gateway or platform charges if any.

After Cancellation Window

If cancellation is made after the allowed period, cancellation charges may apply as per hotel policy.

Hotel Cancellation

If a hotel cancels an accepted booking due to operational reasons, the user may be eligible for refund as per DonoRooms support review.

Payment Failure

If payment is deducted but booking is not confirmed, DonoRooms will verify the transaction status and assist with refund or booking confirmation.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

Certain bookings may be marked as non-refundable. In such cases, cancellation may not qualify for refund unless required by applicable policy, hotel approval or DonoRooms support review.

No-show bookings where the guest does not arrive at the hotel on the check-in date.

Last-minute cancellations after the hotel’s permitted cancellation window.

Bookings under special offers, promotional rates, discounted packages or non-refundable room plans.

Cancellation due to incorrect guest details, invalid documents or violation of hotel rules.

3. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund is approved, DonoRooms or the payment gateway may initiate the refund to the original payment method. The final credit timeline depends on the bank, UPI provider, card issuer or payment gateway.

Expected Timeline

Refunds generally take 5 to 10 working days after approval, depending on bank/payment gateway processing. In some cases, it may take longer due to bank holidays, payment gateway delays or verification requirements.

If the refund does not reflect after the expected timeline, users may contact DonoRooms support with booking number, payment reference and transaction details.

4. Refund Method

Refunds for online payments are normally processed back to the original payment method used during booking. DonoRooms does not usually issue refunds to a different account unless required and verified by support.

PhonePe / UPI / Card

Refund will be processed through the payment gateway to the original source as per gateway and bank rules.

Pay at Hotel

If the booking is pay-at-hotel and no online payment was made through DonoRooms, online refund from DonoRooms will not apply.

5. Deductions & Charges

The refunded amount may be subject to deductions such as hotel cancellation charges, payment gateway charges, platform service charges, taxes, convenience fees or other applicable deductions shown during booking or defined in the hotel policy.

Taxes, gateway charges and convenience fees may not always be refundable, depending on payment gateway rules and applicable booking conditions.
